Who Can Apply for a Long-Term Residence Permit?
- Foreigners who have resided in Turkey continuously for 8 years or those meeting the conditions set by the Migration Policies Board are eligible for this permit.
- Refugees, conditional refugees, subsidiary protection holders, humanitarian residence permit holders, and those under temporary protection cannot transition to a long-term residence permit.
Conditions for Obtaining a Long-Term Residence Permit
- Continuous 8-year residence (Half of the student residence period and the full duration of other residence types are counted).
- No social assistance received in the last 3 years.
- Sufficient and stable income to support oneself and family members.
- Valid health insurance.
