Foreign Nationals Exempt from Visa Requirements
Categories of Visa-Exempt Foreigners in Turkey
Foreign nationals in the following categories are exempt from visa requirements when entering Turkey:
Holders of a valid residence or work permit in Turkey,
Individuals who renounced Turkish citizenship with permission and acquired citizenship of another country,
Those exempt from residence permits under bilateral or multilateral agreements,
Diplomatic and consular officials working in Turkey, along with their spouses and dependent children,
Employees of international organizations with defined status in Turkey according to agreements,
Holders of a stateless person identity card,
Individuals with an international protection applicant identity card or international protection status identity card,
Those under temporary protection,
Drivers and assistants with a multi-entry visa for transportation purposes,
Individuals accepted under the Settlement Law in Turkey.
Important Considerations for Entry
While these categories of individuals are exempt from visa requirements, they must carry valid documents to present at border checks. Visa exemption does not guarantee entry into Turkey; entry permission is granted after necessary checks by authorities.
